Katrine Ponjevic

Katrine (aka Kate) started her journey into the real estate industry at a young age back in Denmark where she grew up. Growing up in a loving family where board games at the dining table, and playing soccer in the backyard kept inspiring her to see all of the possibilities a home can bring. Especially her father, who owns a construction company, taught her the value of quality and good craftsmanship. Kate graduated her bachelor’s degree in business in Denmark, and before starting her career journey, she decided to take a year as an Au Pair in California. This gave her an opportunity to explore the culture, diversity, and the great weather which she fell in love with and which kept her on the Golden Cost. Since has Kate continued falling in love with her home in Alameda and grown her passion and fascination for the real estate industry within the Californian market. Kate was working as a Realtor Assistant when she discovered her talent and interest for the financial side of the industry. She is now a licensed loan officer and joined the Alameda team in 2021. Outside of work, Kate enjoy exploring new hiking trails, going to concerts and spending quality time with her friends preferably cooking and practicing the Scandinavian hospitality and Danish ‘hygge’.
