When an independent study measured how consistently real estate agents send business back to the same loan officer, Xpert Home Lending ranked first among every broker shop measured — scoring well above the average for the 35 largest nonbank lenders and brokerages in the country.
Plenty of mortgage rankings measure volume. This one measures something harder to manufacture: whether a real estate agent keeps coming back to the same loan officer.
RETR's Agent Loyalty Index tracks how consistently a Realtor sends business to the same loan officer over a 14-month window, scored from 0 to 10. A high score means an agent's referrals concentrate with one trusted person rather than scattering across whoever happens to be available. The study covered the 35 largest nonbank lenders and broker shops — institutions with more than 500 loan officers and at least 200 actively producing — and averaged the loyalty score of every producing loan officer's top agent partner.
Volume can be bought. Loyalty has to be earned one closing at a time, and it shows up only after enough transactions to prove the first one wasn't luck.
Xpert vs. every other broker shop in the study
Each bar is one broker shop, ranked highest to lowest. Competitor names withheld.
An agent's reputation is on the line every time they hand a client to a loan officer. If the file closes on time and the communication is clean, that agent comes back. If it doesn't, they quietly stop calling — and no amount of marketing wins them back.
That's why we treat operational excellence as an investment in our loan officers' personal brands. The Xpert platform is built to deliver the consistency and stability that long-term referral relationships are built on: dependable execution, direct access to decision-makers, and a support structure designed so our loan officers can keep their promises to the agents who trust them.
This ranking isn't a marketing achievement. It's a measurement of what our loan officers do with their referral partners, one file at a time, across more than a year of transactions.
Your referral partnerships are the most valuable asset you own. The platform you originate on either protects them or quietly erodes them.
If you're evaluating a move, this is the kind of measure worth asking any shop about — and it's one we're glad to be judged on.
You already know what a reliable lender partner is worth, and what an unreliable one costs you in lost clients and hard conversations.
Our loan officers earned this score with agents like you. Find one licensed in your market and start a conversation.
If you're a producing loan officer who has built real referral relationships, we'd like to talk. Tell us a little about your business and an advisor will follow up personally.
